Good move by Kakugyou to aim from afar.

1. A shogi piece called "Kakugyou".

2.'Kakugyou' is the 'Bishop' in chess.

3.Both 'Hisha(Rook)' and 'Kakugyou(Bishop)' are strong pieces, but 'Kakugyou(Bishop)' is easier to use in the early stages of the game.

4.It is challenging to continuously obstruct the effectiveness of the opponent's 'Kakugyou(Bishop)' with one's own pieces. Conversely, it is advisable to position one's own 'Kakugyou(Bishop)' in a place that is hard to be targeted and aim for opponent's valuable pieces.

5.It is made of 925 silver.

A piece representing the shogi bishop as a Japanese thunder god. It has many drums and drumsticks and can generate lightning. There is no human capable of freely traversing the battlefield in every direction like this. It is a feat achievable only by the gods. Furthermore, in battles, the 'moves of the gods' (luck) often become the key factor determining victory or defeat. In the world of Samurai Shogi pieces, there are only two pieces that do not exist in reality: the 'Hisha' (Rook) and the 'Kakugyou' (Bishop).

*Please note that the flags representing 'Narikin (promoted)' are sold separately.
