4.Based on the proverb, "There are not two suns in the sky, nor two kings on the earth", it is customary to use one "Ou-sho", with the higher-ranking player (the back player) using "Ou-sho" and the lower-ranking player (the first player) using "Gyokusho".

5.It is made of 925 silver.

Shogi piece designed in the motif of Kenshin Uesugi, a representative Daimyo(feudal lord) of Japan's Warring States Period (mid-16th century). Kenshin was famous as a "righteous warlord" who never cared about self-interest or greed. He fought Shingen Takeda five times, but there was no clear winner. He worshipped Bishamonten, the god of war, and was feared by those around him as a "dragon”. His military flag bears the Chinese characters for "毘(Bi)" and "龍(dragon)".
