Samurai Shogi pieces"Gyoku-sho flag2"(for Gold general)
Flag of a man feared as a "dragon" who believed in Bishamonten.
1.This is a military flag to indicate that you are on the "Gyoku-sho" side.
2.This is a military flag exclusively for "Gold general".
3.It is the same design as the military flag on the "Gyoku-sho" piece.
4.The military flag bears the crest of the Uesugi family and the characters "毘(Bi)" and "龍 (Dragon)".
5.It is made of 925 silver.
This is a military flag for the Gyoku-sho side exclusively for the "Kin-sho(Gold general)". A Gold general is never 'Promotion', so the military flag which represents 'promoted' will be flown from the beginning. Its design is identical to the flag carried by the Gyoku-sho. However, unlike in chess, in shogi, captured pieces can be reintroduced into play as part of the capturing player's army. Therefore, the Kin-sho flag is designed to be detachable. The military flag bears the crest of the Uesugi family and the characters for "毘(Bi)" and "龍(dragon)". Each letter is 1/8" square and very finely sculpted.
