"Garyū" refers to a sleeping dragon. It signifies a dragon that has not yet risen to the sky because it has not received the clouds and rain, and is therefore hidden on the ground. In the Chinese historical novel "Romance of the Three Kingdoms," the term "Garyū" is used to describe the brilliant strategist Zhuge Liang, who had not yet been employed by anyone at that time.
